What I Wore Wednesday

I love mixing highs and lows.   In fact one of my  favorite pass times is sifting through racks...going in and out of stores or aisles searching for treasures.   No, no, no, no...yikes!....YES!!!!!
Today I am wearing a shirt by Rory Beca  with a cream tank from TJ Maxx.  I got the shirt  at Sam's Closet.  I actually didn't even know about this store until recently but LOVE it...it is downtown on 72 Wentworth Street.  They carry a lot of interesting lines that are easy to wear but have a hip edge.   This shop is DEF now on my downtown rotation.  LOVE!

Now onto the jeans.  I read about these jeans late summer in Nylon magazine and have been STALKING the internet for their release.  I even went so far as to contact Habitual themselves.  The rep was incredible...confirmed how amazing they indeed were and gave me the release date and I purchased them that day....
They look like a pair of leather jeans (super on trend right now)  but are actually coated jeggings.  I have to say they are probably the most COMFORTABLE pair of jeans I own...  I sometimes go up a size on skinny jeans as I do have a "booty"..but wish I did not on these.  I would buy your normal or smaller size.  They have a lot of stretch.
I know these will be in my wardrobe for seasons to come. Timeless.
I got them in chocolate but they come in different finishes.

My jewelry (bracelets)  are from a street vendor in NYC...and the tear drop shaped earrings are from II Brunettes.  I got them like 2 years ago and even though I own a jewelry company I still love them and find myself wearing them a great deal.  In fact, besides Miss Priss (HELLO!!!) II Brunettes is one of my favorite places to find interesting pieces to add to my collection.  Leslie and Sarah Leigh have a great eye and really go out of their way to hit a big look for a great price-point.
